Didnt have much time to craft and paint, but at least this Paladin is done. Its a Reaper Bones miniature. I didnt like the flat face. Im not good enough to paint shades or higlight to give the feel of a nose or something. But I really like the rest of this miniature, the burning sword and the heavy armor/weapons. I tried to give the shoulder and arm some ambient light of the burning sword. In such high resolution pictures it looks clumsy, but in reality I like the effect. The hig res pictures are nasty. Didnt notice the yellow stains at the feathertips until I look at the picture. The yellow paint spatters at the cloak I didnt even see clearly with my naked eye. :-) This little guy is a mascott of the german Uhrwerk Verlag. It was a Resin-giveaway at Spiel 14 in Essen.

They look nice. I like the fingernails done on the female. Shows attention to details.

New batch of miniatures. The one in the background with the green shield is a old Lady, painted 20 years ago, that sneaked on some pictures. The female paladin and the girl with the knife and sword are reaper bones. The dog is a normal reaper miniatues (part of the animal companions). I guess its a wolf, but I tried that i look more like a german shepard. I painted the reaper bones rat swarm, too. But they are only a grey/brown mass with pink tails. I couldnt make a photo that remember me about a grey blob or similiar ooze monster so I didnt post it:

Is your miniature a bone (plastic) or a original reaper (metal)? I couldnt identify the symbol on the shoulders as the same cross as the cross on the shield on my bones. Only after seeing your picture I identify the cross. I have simply painted it with gold.
I love the price of the bones, I stopped painting because 5€ for a single miniature was to much for my taste. The 2-3€ of a bones miniature are OK, but they loose a lot of details, especially at faces.

Its the metal one. I've paid some ridiculous prices to get the set I've wanted from overseas. I find the original reapers to be fair priced for my PCs. However I don't have many bills or kids so I come first with my money still your minis look great even with the lost detail. Can't beat that price.

I found some 20 year old unpainted miniatures in a box in my cellar. I searched the box since I restarted painting 2 years ago because DMscraft forum and the reaper bones miniatures that was priced in a way that I allowed myself to buy some. :-) Dont know what a creature it is, or wich manufacturer. This is from the old Das schwarze Auge miniatur line. I guess its a Hesinde priestess because the snake. This is a old Magic the gathering miniature-some golem. The barrel is made out of cardstock-like in the Video dmscraft #106. This are a new reaper bone sminiature. I worked to early with the static grass (soemthing knew fro me, that I really love) and the grass cling to the matt varnish in the mantle inside :-( Im allways to impatiently. In the original it isnt so clearly visble. Reaper bones goblins. Need 6 or 12 more for a whole army of goblins. And the minotaur. I really liked this miniature, but was somewhat cowed by it. It waited since christmass to be painted. I try to create some "ligthning effect" around the large axe. I need to take more pictures, but the frontal picture wasnt good. And this is some resin set "workspace of dragon hunter" or something like that.

The Reaper Bones swamp Troll king or something like this. I really like him, but his posture lead to constant toppling so I glue some large washer beneath the base and hide it with filler. I ad droll with glue,

They are the new wizkids range of unpainted miniatures. They are really great. Love them. Much better details then the Reaper bones. I have two dwarf wizards and two orcs, but not yet painted.
