Well im DM Zane and ive been bowsing the forums for some time now. Figured I'd drop in and intruduce myself. Ive been gaming (mostly D&D) for 25ish years. During that time ive mostly DM'd but I also enjoy playing from time to time. Ive been craftly props, painting minis, and creating any number of other things with the all powerful cardboard. Ive watched most (if not all of the DM Scotty and DMG) vids and was suprised at how far the 'craft' has come...and how much i have to learn from all of you. I'll be posting some pics of my projects/gaming sessions/minis in the near future. I must admit that im in awe at some of the artists on this forum and im excited to share/learn from all of you.

Id say my only complaint with this site is that everyday I see something else that I want to make. To bad there is only so much time in a day.

Id say my only complaint with this site is that everyday I see something else that I want to make. To bad there is only so much time in a day. I agree completely. This is a real treasure trove when it comes to crafting techniques, inspiration and feedback. It sometimes makes me feel like a little kid running around in a candy store with 10$ burning in my pockets, unable to decide what to buy.

I've always used the Dungeon Tiles made by wotc, I have a huge box of them. Ive used them with a few hand made accessories in the past , so the 2.5 d is new to me. I've tried making tiles (before learning about dm scotty and dmg's style) and it never really worked out. I have tried making then out of sculpy, Styrofoam, and cardboard with little success. I've made a full set of the modular dungeons tiles(2.5d) and I've been working on other more specific tiles/accessories. Im loving the community here and I'm really happy to be a part of it.
