Hello everyone, i just thought i would stop by and introduce myself
I stumbled upon Dm Scotty's and DMG's Channells a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love with them and decided to jump into the craft.
Me and my girlfriend love to do RPG stuff and always help each other. we like to paint minis (warhammer, reaper or alter others premade ones) and she taught me a molding techniche with wires, newspaper and molding paste we used to make our own minis (which we never finished but when we do ill post some pics!). we also got into DnD together when she brought a 4e starter set from boston last year (we live in Peru and for me thats always been a problem regarding RPGs because there isnt a lot of accesibility; my gaming only run magic and have very little dnd material or guidance).
she loves to roleplay and voice act and i love to create worlds and stories, so i naturally fell into the DMs place. im a philosophy student and i love thinking about different culture and what makes them special (and this is something i really like about games like the TES series where there is very rich history and cultural development.
My father is an architect so i always grew around construction sites and lots of wood and saws and crafting material and when i was 12 i would craft little wooden tank i played with. What im trying to say is, even if im not very good at it, its something that brings me joy to do and thats why i immediately conected when i saw the crafting videos.
right now i have no party or specific goals but i wanna craft so im just aimlesly doing whatever (mostly following videos to have a modular dungeon ready) to have fun. i havent settled on a ruleset yet and most parties only last 4 sessions since its people wanting to try the game out which has always been hard for me so i just think about stories, settings and stuff without getting into the playability detail yet. I think geting into the new DnD rules could be the best move since it seems to bring back what most people wanted and its going to be supported by wizards.
anyways, looking forward to crafting and seeing what you guys post in here!
