I've seen those little houses for sale in the $2 shops down in the township They also have sets of furniture to suit the houses which could be painted and distressed and used as street clutter.

Thanks everyone, I repurposed the toy houses as my kids had broken them. They did originally have some furniture, but my little ones lost them long before I got my hands on them (which was a shame as they were spot on perfect size for 15mm miniatures!) I wouldn't mind finding some more at my local pound shop, but they haven't had any since.

The are a little bit small I would imagine, but ok for true 25mm, even better for 20mm and 15mm. If I was going for 28mm ruins, I think I'd have scaled it up more (I've seen the same toy houses used for 28's but they used 4 of them connected together which looked right)I'll try and find the pic of how they did it and post it up!

Very nice I like that. I've had an idea for a Police vs Robots scenario kicking around in my head for ages and those little houses could be just the thing to create some cool suburban terrain.

These look really good!
"Daddy, where's my doll house?"
Daddy looks round from his project, wide eyed and smiling maniacally.
"Doll house, sweetie? Oh..You mean... THIS? Muha! Muhahahaha!"
Cue screams, crying and cursing.

I love the color choices you made. That green of the grass and flock really sets off the grey and dismal feel. Nice contrast. Great build!
