I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since the mid-eighties. I have also done a lot of painting, scenery, and crafting for war games. While I don't have a group to run games for now, I have been watching DMScotty's Vids for a while. This lead to watching other peoples vids, such as DMG, who do the 2.5 crafting method. My wife usually sits in the chair, with her kindle, and makes comments behind me. There is always that moment when she says, "I don't see how that is going to work at all." The project in the video always ends up looking great. So after acquiring a double corrugated refrigerator box, we decided to do some crafting together. We are in the initial stages on our first dungeon tiles, but I am excited to see what we can accomplish. When I have something worthwhile to post, I will post up some pics.
I am looking forward to seeing what everyone is working on and has completed.

I had moments like that too, where I was watching the video and asking aloud "Now why would he do that....ooooooohhhh that's why!" Welcome! I'm looking forward to seeing the pics.

Thanks, everyone! My wife is looking forward to tackling the toilet paper roll Purple Worm. She is the person who refers to the Monster Manual, as the Manual of Possible Friends. I am in the process of doing basic dungeon tiles, and repainting some D&D minis.

you'll know you have the Craft Bug Bad when you look at something before tossing it in the trash and thinking "What can I make out of this"

It's nice to see wife and husband working together. It gives that warm feeling in your belly that you normally only get when you kill the players.
