Anyone have ideas on NPC miniatures, it's hard to find minis for npcs. I was thinking about printed paper ones but all the ones I find are cartoon or something, I want images like in the box with the cardboard cutouts. any ideas?

What sort of Minis are you going for? Like towns people, bandits etc

You can do searches on the miniature sites for things like "villagers" or "bartender" or stuff like that and find a reasonable amount of miniatures. The Reaper Bones collection has a few suitable minis. Of course that means spending a lot of money. You can do what I did and make some with Sculpey clay. I made a nifty dwarven road crew once...

By NPC I mean townspeople like citizens and blacksmiths and pretty much people who aren't fighting and gave a sword or axe in their hand.

Can I see it if you still have it? I don't think I'll be able to make a clay mini, I'm not that good but I'll try.

I like to think I've improved, but they were perfectly usable in my game.

Nice set of paper minis sadric, thanks for posting the link! I'm going to have to print all of these out sometime and make each of the sets!

That is a hell of a collection of paper minis, Sadric, thanks for sharing!! For NPCs that play an important role, I like using this. Not only is it cheaper than buying a new mini each time, it also makes the character immediately recognizable. The tokens come with every 4e box I've bought, so I have enough to last for a while.

They're mostly fighters, and come of the village people aren't really what I need, I need a few normal people and like a blacksmith and bar tender and inn workers. I'll keep looking if there is a blacksmith

My printer doesn't suck, but it needs service, really badly and I'm not really sure if it's worth servicing! I want to get a cardstock printer, I found a really nice one, but I also don't have the throw away cash at the moment!

There is a black smith in the castle dwellers set, though the others are pretty generic towns people. If none of the others are useful to you, it may be better for you to buy the Bones blacksmith and innkeeper though.
Personally, I usually just TotM NPCs that aren't likely to be involved in a fight.

Don't usually use paper figs, but those r some cool ones and might have to print some out. I made some stand dowels for the paper ones along time ago. Thanks

download them so you get them in the correct size just saving them from the pic might not be of proper size for easy use

Thanks their really cool, I saw some of them but not all. How would I base them if I don't have real bases? I usually make ones with a washer and cardstock.
