Okay, here are some pics of my first dungeon stuff I created for my Pathfinder campaign My jelly monster called "Der Schlonz"... beautiful, isn´t it? You can lift the jelly and put a miniature in it... Lot of hotglue... ^^ My Magma Room The Magma is just an inlay for the room itself... I´ll do some other inlays like ooze or water next Now some WIP stuff... a friend of mine presented me with some interior stuff for the dungeon hope you like it so far...

Nice work, I really like the jelly and the magma flow. And good idea making that an inlay so that it's modular.

Thank you guys Here a pic of my first layout, excuse the bad quality And also a pic of my WIP playmat It is made of some fleece, paints (brown & white) and static grass flock. Smear the paint on the fleece, let it dry, but not completly, then add the flock and push it into the paint. I´ve got this tutorial from a german wargaming board and it works well... Easy to craft and a realy lightwight, roll it up, carry it where ever you want it and put it down on the gaming table. Add some tree bases, some ruins and some NPC miniatures, et voila, a cheap battleground. My fleece has an extra layer of plastic foil on the backside, I bought it at a german hardware store, you could maybe find something similar in your local hardware store. Happy Crafting Edit: Cuttet the mat to a size of 60x60cm (Wargames Skirmish standard)

Great idea using the fleece! I'm a bit surprised - I would have expected that the would color flake / peel off when you roll the fleece. Good to know that this method works!

I hope it will work, it is my first one... Here are some other examples for this technic, but the forum board is in german language. Sweetwater is a huge german wargaming board (Mostly historical wargaming) and a great treasure full of tipps and tricks, but... german...

Your work is awesome! I love the oozing look of the magma and the slime creature. How did you get the dome shape with the creature?

That is some really cool stuff man I love the ooze ball it makes for one hell of an instance of a character being over ran by a giant ooze.

The inlays are quite lovely. Your effect on the pool actually look beautiful, which should mess with the players when you tell them it's an Acid Pool. I love messing with the players.
At first I thought the lava piece laid over the top of the tile, which has given me an idea. You could have a standard room set up normally, furniture and such. Suddenly lava starts flowing into the room from one wall. Roll Initiative.
