The other day I was walking around and found a bottle cap. I thought about whether or not I could use it for something, then it dawned on me that it would make an excellent marker! I painted it then placed an npc mini on it to show that it was important... And my party killed him (I have a rather unruly group so this shouldn't be an issue for you). They're also good for showing that a character is on an elevated surface and that smaller enemies can't get to them. Anyways, I thought I'd share this with you, so please post your own ideas or opinions. ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

I think there was a thread a while ago on using bottle caps. I use them for wheels and bases for minis.
For conditions I use different colored foam circles that I place beneath the affected mini.

When I walking to work I find all sorts of crap/ crafting materials that I think I could use for something. I've found a hundred fender washers in different new or rust stages. Saved myself at least $25 bucks easily lol. I play Battletech and other strategy games too so find oddball stuff for them too.

I have a decent collection of washers too, but as I mentioned, the elevation from the bottle caps creates a bit more room for expirementation. Just now I thought of flipping them over and using them as small amounts of gorgon mud!

Two Dr Pepper/7up brand bottle caps together make a nice barrel especially for modern/scifi settings. Not to many ridges an just loos good enough and good size too.
