This is the last sculpted Pinterest style Mushroom: I'm sure there will be others AND some new varieties, but that's for another day. As always fantastic work, and looking forward to more varieties

I was thinking that when I build mine, I will have some type of alignment problem to solve... I will be placing a stone of some sort on each island, that will have to align with other stones in some way shape or form, which will cause something to happen...not sure what yet tho Probably a couple circle rock formations on a couple of isles, then a pillar-like formation stone on the others... Harpoons, man power, maybe even some assistance from the local wildlife...to pull the isles into alignment... then maybe one island lowers to a sacred place known only to the ancient ones, that guard a levitation secret or artifact

Love the figure, love the terrain! I've seen swords like those, with small, protruding spikes, in books. Never seen one on a figure. It fits the whole of the design, quite well. She fights unfairly, distracting men with her mystery, and wile... Glad I'm not facing her -- those swords are wicked! Cheers! I thought those swords were kinda crazy lookin, seems as if one might be punctured and chopped simultaneously, step aside ginzu Great paint job Kev! Really like the NON cartoon look of your work

Nice job...especially like the way u did the bases, appears to be able to work well with numerous settings. I've been strongly considering the replacement of the bases with clear acrylic ones. Not sure on that one tho yet. For me that means drilling out the holes on the mini and the base then pegging them with pieces of paper clips...not sure I want to embark on that train Hey if your doing your saga minis, keep this thread going with your completed minis, love to see 'em ALL I am also finishing up a bunch of my saga minis...ended up receiving a mutated ghost mini with no head and and no arms, so I jumped at the opportunity to do some customizing...

The catapult would be great to launch unbalanced dice out a window! I thought you were supposed to keep those dice, cause you always know what numbers they land on

The original ballista was capable of firing a single bolt about 3 feet, thought that it might be a bad idea, so I rebuilt it. I also decided in the build process to add 2 extra limbs, make it look similar to a dwarven wind lance. So the remake is not capable of firing...but the catapult does

What an awesome ballista! And thanks a million for the silicone&cornstarch mould toturial. I've made those moulds for about 4 years now, but I hadn't known about mixing oil into the mass. My molds lose their flexibility after a few years, so maybe the oil will prevent that. You can use whatever acrylic color you have - I don't think a special brand is required. I have a tube of the cheapest wall mixing color (...that never seems to end - you need only a small squirt for mix) and it works just fine. Also, I always used clear silicone instead of white; no idea if this makes any difference...? I was surprised that he lets the mold sit for only 20 mins - I gave my molds at least 12 hrs, for large molds a complete day. Thanks Tauster !! I'm afraid I cant take credit for the vid, I believe that was erho

Thats a badass mock up of a ballistae! Watch hands for the bow? HA ! right again erho !! The decorative parts of the limbs are clock hands, the black pieces on the lower set of limbs are from a storm window spacer set that came with some replacement windows... What I'm really surprised about...no one asked if it shoots or not
