Almost where I want to be on these. Pip the "goblin" vanished (more later). Original: Left Pip the goblin out on work table one night, and he disappeared. I think he was taken by a giant feline that roams my dungeon. Searches were made, no remains found.

Nice! I got my two Giganta figures on Saturday. Compared one to my old Ral Partha Storm Giant figure: she is maybe 2-3 mm taller, but they will work as female Storm Giants. I plan on painting their skin purple, to match the male specimen. Then I plan on putting some long dresses on them, as Giganta wears a pretty small outfit. I believe Storm Giantesses would dress more conservatively, in my campaign world. Looking forward to acting on the recommendation I got from margaret , so I will be using tissue paper, as it is thinner, to represent the fabric of their dresses. Will be a lot of fun to try a couple of new crafting techniques: making giantess clothing with tissue paper and watered-down PVA Glue, as well as modifying some figures with the first technique! I'll be painting the figures first, then draping the "dresses" over them. I suspect the results will be quite nice. The Giganta figures, themselves, are very well sculpted, and painted, to be quite honest. Modifying them for my purposes, should be quite easy. I also put in a bid on another set of Heroclix Giant figures. It contains a different pose version of Giganta, as well as three male Giants I believe I can convert into male Storm Giants. I'm planning to use them all in a 2e BattleSystem game, some time in the future. They will be powerful allies for the good guys, and whale targets for the evil Shark guys, to attack: "Bring down the Giants, Boys! We'll be getting free drinks for the rest of our lives, retelling the tale of how we toppled them in battle..." Cheers!

I just realized, Sam , that you re-positioned Giganta's right arm, as well as adding a giant axe to her hand... Did you just cut the clenched fist, and the bicep area, twist, and glue? Please share! I would expect you pinned the upper arm, after cutting. Cheers!

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. 1st, Draklith "Dirty Harry" said, "A man has to know his limitations.", I paint to "Good Enough to Game With" standards, they work for me. I have "Benign Congenial Tremor", which means my hands shake, precise brush control is an issue. It was also why a lot of pics came out blurry, I learned to set the camera down when taking pics. 2nd, sgtslag I cut her fist loose from her hip, soaked her in hot water, then twisted her hand up and away with pliers, the plastic was fairly soft and pliable, I then ran it under cold water to set it. It has drifted back a little. The axe was vertical.

Nice work, all around. I like the axe being twisted, as if she were moving... I paint to the same standard: GEtGW (Good Enough to Game With). Cheers!

Thanks for the compliment. I did more painting "back in the day" (abt 25-30 yrs ago). Here is one of my favorites. I painted it for Bob Bigelow. It was in Dragon magazine issue192 on page 114.
