You could try some matte spray paint to tone down the shine! Just spray lightly a time or two to see if it gives you the reduction in shine. Then if it's giving you what you want, just continue to add layers carefully till you get the matte look you want.

Yea, hit it a few times wiht the matte MP and youre good.
I would recommend using a spray sealer, as MP tends to reactivate in humid temperatures and stick to anything including dust and other minis.
I live in Oklahoma, and its humid alot here.

I live in Oklahoma, and its humid alot here. I thought the 'Oklahoma, where wind comes sweeping down the plains!' tended to be somewhat dry and hot, or somewhat dry and cold!

Theres the Panhandle northwest thats dry, windy and flat. Got hit hard in the dustbowl era, sand dunes swallowing homes. and Grapes of Wrath! I'm in the middle where its hot, hilly and moist!

Thanks I will try a matte spray over it. Didn't know if I would screw it up if I did that. I am in ND...hot and dry or bitter cold and dry...and windy, always windy.

Howdy,
Lots of painters use a matte over gloss. When it gets shiny from use/handling re-apply the matte again.
So I've heard, Kev!

Yep, no worries!
I did a ton of stuff in MP and it collected dust too easy so I hit it with Spray sealer, and it had no adverse effects

Thanks for the head's up on MP re-activating! Did not know that. I thought it would seal, and be immune to moisture, when dry. Have not switched over, completely, yet. Great to know! Cheers!

My pleasure!
Put a drop of water on some old MP and watch it turn white and liquid!
