erho: Thanks, I had used white glue to glue them into place...I didn't want to use hot glue and have them not work now that they are attached!!

tauster: I can't seem to make them work...I take them partially apart and then they won't turn on I did find some LED earrings that I bought to use as torches...going to just push them through a wall or whatever and won't have to take them apart at all Have been looking for a model RR book on lighting...they always seem to do such neat things with lights. There seems to be 2 types of these tea lights. One you can take apart and it will work, but the other's switch is held in place by the top "cap" that the LED goes through. I think Scotty has a vid explaining this when he is making the camp fires?

For your fire pit, you might want to add some black with slight white dry brushing to the bottom section of it to look like ash in the bottom from whatever is burning in it having been burnt out. Be careful with it though as you don't want to cover up the parts to the top to much with it.
But your pieces look great!

Erho: I have about 20 of the led tea lights laying around. Have taken apart a handful of them with same results. Thought maybe the dollar store ones wouldn't work broke down so bought some at Wal-Mart with same results. I watched Scotty's video quite a while back. Guess I will have to rewatch as I seem to pick the wrong kind of tea lights...

Skunkape: I'll have to try adding "ashes". Lol I was so disappointed when it turned out looking like eggs lol. Think am going to pick up a diff yellow...the one I have is Sunny Day...maybe is just too "happy yellow" as well...am working on a 5 tiered ziggurat type temple I need to have getgw by Sunday afternoon, and wanted these flat brazier type lights around...trying to keep the stuff inside low so as they move between floors I won't have this massive tower that I am positive will get knocked over lol...

Alternatively, you might try those tiny LED balls with 10mm diameter. See here and here. They're available in all kind of colors, including yellow which might work as flame illumination in combination with flames made of hotglue over the LED. They're not blinking however...
