Looks great, but aren't you worried that your players will have problems seeing/manipulating their figures?

Not really. They are used to playing with 3D terrain. I can always remove the tops of the buildings if needed.

Howdy,
Lots of greatness here. I have the Castle Dwellers, too, but not the Friars and Monks. I need to get me some. A couple of DDM Dwarves, I see... That gong is a fantastic idea. Most towns should have an alarm system of some kind, but I rarely see them. There are a lot of different crafting possibilities there. That fire is the bomb, heh?
EXALT BUTTON!!!, Kev!

Looks great! I love the farm fields, they really add some height to base of the table! Awesome.

Looks great, but aren't you worried that your players will have problems seeing/manipulating their figures? Unless you are in narrow spaces like small cavern passages, the blocking of sight isn't that big of a deal. One trick I have learned is really simple. You cut out cardboard pieces the sizes of the building when a clearer view is desired. Or if your buildings are set up right you just remove the top of the building. Adding a 3rd dimension (height) can really change the strategy of a dungeons and dragons game and really make it unique and interesting. For example, if someone is attacking a higher building if they try to scale you have difficult terrain with climbing skill checks. If they go in the building you can have a choke point. It is really a nice twist to a 2-D game.
