Recently picked up myself a copy of Frostgrave & decided to start a new terrain project as the game demands alot of it, thought i'd share a work in progress pic with you guys, early stages, no texture or detail yet.....but its starting to take shape...

Howdy,
Can't really see the finish with the blue tint photos...

Sorry Kev I know the pics aren't great, just trying to snap a shot here and there as I go. Its not a tint just the lighting, and still has a lot to go before finished. After I complete the last of the brick work with the EVA I will start on texture and detail.

started cracking on the tile work and some more medium pieces, getting close to texture stage. Tried to take a better (brighter) photo but they turned out a bit blurry (apologies) as I'm taking WIP photos if a fluster as i go (will take some nice scenic shots when all done).

Made my 3'x3' Battleboard for Frostgrave, Grey primer, then dark grey sponge work, followed by light grey tile stamping (fading some out as i go), then brown sponge work around the edges & lastly white spray paint around the edges...pretty happy with the result (should look decent once the terrain is on top) . the board is just MDF (remember to put your paint on in thin coats to avoid warping) Whole board (inc paint) cost $20 Aus so pretty cheap and 1 hour to make so pretty fast.

Ok so we had our intro game night and it was fantastic, the game was really fun to play and having heaps of terrain helped a lot. Bellow is a pic of the board (you'll notice i have added some snow trees) set up as well as some pics from the first gaming session. Still got some detail work and washes to go but its table ready as is....
