This is my first miniature paint I now have mad respect for all you painters. And I learned a lot first need much smaller brushes you will notice poor Randus has no eyes... Second i released i need more light and magnification luckily my in laws have a dentist magnifier/light so my troubles there will be soon over Third he can out very dull which was a little by design but a lot due to me painting to many things a brown leather color, so to remedy that i plan on doing weapon, loin flap thing, and shield in a copper red highlight The base needs a little more forest green i rushed the paint job so i could get a better feel for it, but next time i paint him i will do it much slower your looking at about 2-3 hours (while watching Blacklist) and hopefully i can make him much smoother and clean Any critics or advice would be very helpful thanks This photo makes him look a lot shoddier than he actually is (maybe the zoom?)

Looks good, seems like your picking up dry brushing well, your chainmail and metal buckles have nice depth.

I use regular clear acrylic spray to seal mine. Does it make it shiny and thick or can you not really notice a huge difference?

I have a can of gloss and a can of matte finish. Just remember to go easy. Multiple thin layers look great. Thick layers look foggy.

Well seeing how the team made it to Montana by usps in perfect condition and only 2-3 minis shook free of their foam lip, I'd personally say they do a great job and on the cheap compared to similar products with huge price tags. Another great piece by @rouseau. However I doubt the Penatrators care for the snow on their field now.

Very nice cases i don't own to many minis so i might make a small foam box similar to those instead of a foam coffin

I was thinking of putting disk magnets in mine, since I E6000-ed my AotPW minis to washers... or vice versa. *shrug*

Your first paint job? Dude. Two things hit me. One, you've got a natural talent and two, I don't have that talent. At best, I am adequate, which, I guess, gets the job done. But you should keep painting, that's a fact.

I appreciate it and thank you for your encouragement, and i wouldn't say it was natural talent i owe a lot to the people on this forums and the great instructors on youtube
