Do successful submitters get a free copy? Yes of course . It would be unlikely that someone would be turned away - their content may just be held over to another issue if it didn't fit. If there were problems with the submission we would advise on how it could be improved/corrected, etc.

Ideally it would be more about the how and why you used certain techniques - influences, creative thought process - original idea vs final product. How you think it could be improved, etc, etc. (So less of a tutorial and more a discussion of methodology).
