It makes me wonder what the last video of the season might be. And how long till season 2. I do enjoy watching your OCD when crafting, not many are that meticulous.

Good video.
You could probably just dunk the glued end into some cold water to speed up the cooling.

There are a few things that could improve the forge quite a bit.
First off, hold off on final assembly until you painted its parts. That would help with the stonework painting, and if you paint up the coals before inserting the light, you protect the light a bit more.
A major thing would be to use a different roof entirely. Doesn't entirely apply to worlds with high magic, but, well, no forge would have a wooden roof because they burn, and forges tend to kick up a LOT of sparks. An easy replacement is to take corrugated cardboard and peel the cover off one side to reveal the corrugation, cut it to size for the sides of the roof, then cut a cheap plastic straw to length and then cut it in half lengthwise and glue one of those over the peak of the roof to create a spanish or asian tile style roof. Black bomb it, then a heavy drybrush of terracotta followed by a 2:1 mix of white and terracotta to lightly drybrush over it.
Also, one thing that could improve the light itself is to add some yellow, orange, and red stained glass paint over the "wick".
Most of those are just to improve the look, but the roof is one that would likely be necessary for anything other than a fantasy game.

sotf who, in their right mind, would use cardboard to make a forge to begin with. i mean isn't cardboard flammable ? XD
i think its an awesome piece. EDIT: i think i found a little thing that could be improoved upon. the shingles ! the method is sound, its the placing thats incorrect. your shingles ends up all lining up and that shouldn't be. lines of the shingles should be like a brick wall. first line of shingle is placed. then the second line should be placed with so the shingles lines up in between two shingles. kinda like covering the spaces in between shingles.
aside fromt hat. that forge is awesome man !

Is it ok to spray the foam core with black to base and get a texture? Or do you end up having to re-base in acrylic?

Do not use spray paint. It causes the foam to corrode/melt. You need to seal it first with paint or white glue...but then what's the point of spraying?

Do not use spray paint. It causes the foam to corrode/melt. You need to seal it first with paint or white glue...but then what's the point of spraying? Yep, it also tends to release some rather nasty, toxic fumes in the short term and long term smells...superglue is another thing that you don't want to use on foam. However, if you back off quite a bit, spray paint can work well for a corroded look. There is also some foam safe spray paints that exist, but they are quite expensive (Tends to be a lot more than the textured spray paints, around $25 or more a can)...at which point, it really becomes something that's very situational to use, and you aren't going to be using it for things that you can do easily with a cheap wall painting brush...

i've been a huge players of MTG for years on end, when i was not playing dnd. i can safely say that since wizards wanted to put dnd in TCG. they did well and MTG really shows that by being pretty much DND on cards already. so its normal to put them together. after all MTG is DND on cards and DND is still DND from a company who now owns both franchise.
most of my ideas from a campaign designer either comes from movies, books, or MTG. just looking at the art and flavor text as wyloch said is a ton of ideas ! been using cards for quite some times already.
