Amazing sculpts, I really like the personality you gave the beholders.

thanks , i have some beholders that i started a long while back and just shelved as other projects came up . depending on how long the deadline for the craft wars is , i was thinking i might do a small 2.5D beholderhive , and finish up the beholders for it , but i'm not sure if i have enoughtime for that because i would have to make all the other beholders and kin from the "I Tyrant" book to flesh it out and make it legit . i would need to get a few more items and supplies , and the unfinished beholders arent as characterful as my older one , which i might need to fix a bit , and that would take time but of course since i dont play D&D more than once every few years (if i'm lucky enoughto get even THAT much play ) , i am thinking if i DO it , i would have to auction it off on ebay ( cant afford to have it taking up my project space . i dont think i have ever seen or heard of anyone with a "hive" , but a threat THAT powerful is more than most groups could really face if they want to have any survivors left , so i'm not sure how much it would fetch at auction .

Don't know where to begin. Let's just say that my mind is blown. Some fantastic crafts and conversions, you are really talented. It's going to be an interesting Craftwar this month. Aren't you crafting anymore or have I misunderstood something?

first , the beholders and their kin . i have always thought that beholderss more than any other monster were icons of the D&D world , because they were so different than anyother monster , and were mainly only found in D&D . dragons and the like could be found in a pretty much EVERY fantasy world , but beholders are to fantasy what the DALEKS are to scifi . and i always thought beholders would be happy most of the time , smug in the knowing thatthey are the most pwerful beings in the universe and are the most perfect form and image of life .........................( atleast in their own minds ) i sculted these 8 or so years ago , and still have them on my shelf , refusing to let them go durrng spring games cleaning . </a>'> another spell warped beholder , this time mixed with a spider , as an ultimate creation , warped by the drow to destroy their enemies .......... to bad its almost impossible to control a beholder lest he destroy the hand that feeds This one is really cool, I can see it as some sort of cyborg. I can see it in some sort of Aliens-like bug hunt adventure. I wonder how much of a PitA it would be to run a wire up the stand and have a red LED in the center *weg*. I can just hear the moans of dread from teh players when it gets put on the table... and then the sound of boxers being soiled as it lights up

I can just hear the moans of dread from teh players when it gets put on the table... and then the sound of boxers being soiled as it lights up thnx , glad to see people liking it . it would be near impossible without fully removing the eyestalks and then cutting it apart . the center that its sculpted around is a wooden ball , which also makes up the entire surface of the ceter eye , so that would have to be hollowed out and replaced with a section of some sort of clear lens , then tinted red . it would be easier just to make another , but even then would require a lot of modification to make it work . also i would have to do a serious amount of work on the base to hollow it out and wire it for a super thin battery so thati wouldnt have to make it thick and clunky looking as that would take away from the sleek appeal of the figure .

the Dog Boys .... Born from vain malice , concieved in delusions of grandure and Godhead , each one a whirlwind of destruction born of the desperation to please a petty , vengful creator as he lashes out at the world ........ i came up with the idea of the dog boys as a logical next step in the creation of a frankenstien type monster . in the dark forrests in the eastern most realms after nearly a lifetime of trying to bring the dead back to life , and aging scientist finally manages to achieve success . building his own small army muscle , the doctor sends his dog boys out to terrorize the nearby country side with wreckless abandon . when left to their own devices , the dog boys are simple minded and as harmless as children . they perform menial labor around the castle , and when the master isnt around they clean and care for "slab" . but when the master is around they walk on egg shells , knowing that it doesnt have to be their fault for the master to punish them for the slightest provocation , "slab" is the ever pressent reminder that some times the master beats them for the sake of beating them . "Slab" was once a dog boy , the first in fact , until he failed to kill a dire bear that had taken one of the masters sheep . for that the master beat him so severly with the shock wand on such high power that he was reduced to a screaming "slab" of meat , legs so badly burnt that they had to be cut away . after that the master had what was left hung in the cellar where the Dog bys sleep . when the master is angry he likes to go down and beat "slab" with his shock stick , making an example of what happens when anything angers the master ........ <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" "> <img style="max-width: 100%;" alt="" src=" ">

(please note that this is not a something I want to be quoted on. ) oh come now , with the proliferation of tanticled anime movies , who would really be fit to judge there is a back story for them , i just havent finished it yet . my inspiration for them was 2 fold ; first is that a player in my group got the kickstarter of shadows of brimstone , and it is AWESOME to play , and got me going nuts on getting figs and stuff for ME to play HIS game ........ and second was that i got that "green stuff" tinticle maker , and just WENT TO TOWN on it . i havent had time to sit down and finish the other sisters , and they will take a long while to get around to finishing , but i figured i would share so .............
