I re-organized my photobucket page, so time to show you some stuff. Some miniatures are new, some were posted in the old forum, some are repaints of toys or heroclix, other are home made. Let's start with my last fatigue, the Hangman Golem, aka, the Rope Golem. Some days ago I had thismarvelous idea: let's make a rope golem, it will be easy, it's only made of wires. I was a pain in the... hands to make, I ended with a lot of cuts, and themetal wires were covered in plastic. Also the final result is so so, and it's too big for a Large figure. Full gallery here.

Well, I think it looks good! I hadn't thought of using wire ties before. Thanks!
I am finding that, playing gridless, creature dimensions and base sizes are less important as time goes by. I don't even bother with bases for insects and animals if I don't have to use one for stability.

I really like the idea of the rope golem. I kind of wish that I had one early in the campaign when the characters ran through a tower full of animated stuff. They fought curtains. This would have easily fit in.

Thank you for the positive comments guys, but I'm a perfectionist, so if something does not turn as planned I got angry Well, jokes aside here another golem, a stone golem, or a brick golem as I like to call him, inspired by the Dragon Warriors games (this guy here ). (I think I have alredy post this one before, well, whatever). Complete gallery here

Love the brick golem! The paint job is great and the added detail, like the mossy bits, really sell it. What are the bricks made from?

To tell the truth, I don't know, they are from some model set, build your own castle or something like that, they looks like little real brick.

Those all rock. My two favorite are the rope and the mud... they both have so much character!

Omg i loved Dragon warrior...wait...do you remember the gold golem lol. I may have to make one of these and have it rise up out of a treasure hoard as the last line of defense, haha.
