I just ordered a large set of miniature paints and was looking for a good way to store them. There are lots of racks sold online but they are very pricey so I decided to make my own out of cardboard. They turned out pretty nice. Not bad for a couple dollars worth of materials lol. Thanks for looking.

Brilliant! I got one of those wire, spinning wracks, from Michael's, a few years ago, as a Christmas gift; it holds more paint bottles than I will ever own, so capacity is wonderful. If it weren't for the fact that I have this, I would take your idea, and have a blast with it. Your rack is easier to use than the wire spindle, as you can easily see the colors, where I see the bottom of the bottle as I spin the rack -- not nearly as easy to locate the color I want... Cheers!

I made 2 which should be just enough for my mini paints. Now I wish that I would have made another for craft paints while I was at it.

I found a tutorial online for paint racks that I used about 6 years ago. You use wood and metal brackets, but using cardboard to make them is much more economical!

You sir, are a genius!
I was about to bite the bullet and order some paint racks online (I needed roughly 3@ £20) but now that's £60 that can be used for something else.
Simply awesome. Thank you for the inspiring idea.

Brilliant idea, that will save me a couple of bucks - thanks! I don't have even one bottle of miniature paint (although that will probably change soon), but I bought 100 little 20 ml plastic cans to hold the mixed colors I have left over from painting terrain and other stuff. They are absolutely airtight, transperent and come very cheap on ebay (100 pcs. for approx. 17 €), plus they have similar dimensions as the bottles (26,5 mm diameter, 47 mm high). I've already filled a dozen of them and need a different storage solution where I can see the sides with the colors better. Your rack is the solution.
