Yeah, I am painting the rest of the Roper at the moment, but will save the eye for a video on how I do an eye.

I am looking forward to the eye video. The concept has me intrigued.

I'm working on it, I keep filming things being crafted, then I review the footage and its just not good enough.. so, I think the best thing to do is to set up a video where I just explain via a series of images, with a voice over, showing step by step construction stages. Because crafting and having the camera fall in my paint, or lean sideways slowly, or get in my way or me going completely out of shot, is exactly what has happened to date.. and even when I ended up using my phone to film a close up of the eye being painted, the footage was too large a file to transfer to my computer or something, so I threw my hands in the air and decided enough was enough.. filming was getting in the way of my enjoyment of crafting, so it could go sit in the corner and think about what it had done.
There will be a tutorial on eye lensing, I promise you.. it just won't be about that Roper's eye.

It was terribly frustrating. Well regardless, whether it is still frames or not, I can wait patiently.

Hey, @aj, regarding the mini wars: You said something about having more than one winner. How about having different categories (ex: Hero's, Comapanions & Familiars, Flying monsters, Aquatic monsters, a catagory for each size group of monsters, Bosses, etc) and announce a winner for each catagory? Just my $0.02 USD.

First, thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it. Second, the first month I am leaving it open category so we can just see what happens.. I am hoping for complete mayhem.. then, once we get an idea of participation and such, we can look at organising ourselves.. I enjoy doing the under the hood work on the craftwar, but the mini war is sort of a much looser entity.. your suggestion certainly is a good way to look at things.. just keep in mind, there are hundreds of category delineations we could make.. if I make a space cowboy beholder kin plushy, do I automatically win the sci fi, old west, monster, cute/anime and stuffed toy prizes? Perhaps it would be better to just say "Hey, if you are making something this month, take the time to document your build, here is a rough deadline to get it done, this way we all benefit from something you were going to do anyway".

I am seeing Miniwar as a great way for all of us to expand our mini collections cheaply... that is my hope at least after seeing the Will-of-the-Whisp Entry.

First of all, thanks for showing some of the sewer tiles. Pretty cool, I have really enjoyed the Heroic Tiles I have made so far. And I look forward to the cavern set. They are A4 which is perfect for me. For you 8.5x11 folks Fat Dragon is having a sale of their Dungeon Set 1&2 which seem to be pretty comparable.
There is one thing I don't understand about the video though. As a site admin, are you saying conversation of non-5e rpgs is discouraged? I'm not sure I understand.

As far as your 5e rant, thanks for your opinion on it, but as far as not posting my opinion on the game, if someone posts a 5e thread and they ask in the thread if I'm going to play 5e, I feel justified to comment on whether I'm going to play or not. If someone follows up on my comment, I'll continue to offer my opinion, but I'm fine with posting in their thread that I'm not interested in running 5e, wasn't interested in running 4e and have stopped running 3.5 and Pathfinder as well.
I'm fine with playing those systems, and have spent money on 3.5 and Pathfinder and might spend money on 5e, but only as a player and not a GM as I prefer D100 systems.

I think the thing to remember here, is that when you're talking about this game vs that game or edition, it is all a matter of opinion. And opinions vary from person to person. Opinions are not facts. My opinion is valid and so is your opinion even though they may differ greatly. I'll respect your opinion, though I might not share it, and respect your right to have that opinion and I expect you to behave in the same manner. We are all adults here after all, well mostly. But even the youngsters here, I've noticed behave with a level of sense and decorum that is impressive.
So, if all you ever want to play 2e, that's fine. I feel you might be missing out on something by not trying the others, but it is your choice. I, personally prefer 3.5 and Pathfinder (I say this not having tried much in the way of earlier editions), but I will keep my mind open and if the opportunity presents itself, I may try a different edition. I will be looking into 5e, because it is so strongly recommended by people whose opinions I respect.
Opinions matter, but they are individual and unique to each person. Opinions are not facts.
