I was wondering what the width of the hallway tiles are Scotty makes? Do you generally make them so two abreast can walk through them? Thanks, Algar

I normally make my hallways 2.5 inches wide after adding the walls. This lets me put PCs in two abreast with some fiddle room.

Thanks I am making my first tile and made it 3" before I put the walls on so with the walls they are about 2-2 1/2" wide which is about the same as your tiles. I'll see how this works and include a pic when I'm done.

Any width you like is fine really, though I would suggest a standard size or two. Like I said in the other thread, you are the architect.

It really depends how much wiggle room you want. I make my walls a centimeter in width so i usually do the hallway about 2 2/3"

The first one I made the width between the walls on it is about 2" so I think it should be wider in most cases so two adventurers can walk side by side. I'll finish this one anyways and keep it in case I need a more narrow tile. I'll post pics when it's done.

If your ground scale is 1" = 5 feet, then corridors can be 1" - 4" wide, which translates into 5 feet wide, to 20 feet wide. Depending on your dungeon, you may need hallways even wider: 30 feet (6"), or 40 feet (8"), or... Pick your ground scale, then calculate how many inches it should be.
If you are using a commercially produced dungeon module, check the map's scale, and calculate the figure size needed. Be sure to do this well in advance! I plan on running a skirmish miniatures game based on the classic AD&D Giant series of modules, and when I looked at the dungeon maps, I was shocked at how big they really are! (None of the dungeons would fit on my 9' x 5' Ping Pong Table... They are all much larger than that, in a 1" = 5 feet ground scale.) My project requires some serious planning to pull it off the way I want. YMMV. Cheers!
